NOW that you are here let me start off by sharing a little about me. I am Jacqueline Smith, Some call me Jackie. I am a devoted wife for over 30 years, proudly navigating the joys and challenges of being an empty nester, sharing my life with my husband. Together, we have raised two young adult children, who have now embarked on their own journeys. As a grandmother to two grandchildren, I cherish precious moments spent with them. Born in the USA with deep roots in Jamaica, celebrating my rich heritage while holding steadfast to my Christian faith, which guides me in every aspect of my life.

 

With over 30 years of dedicated experience in the healthcare industry, I have cultivated a diverse skill set that ensures exceptional service and efficiency. My journey began as a Customer Service Representative, where I effectively managed inbound patient calls and conducted outbound communications with insurance companies. I have developed expertise in patient and insurance billing, with a solid understanding of Accounts Receivable and Payable processes. My role as an insurance processor of claims has honed my attention to detail and accuracy, allowing me to navigate complex billing scenarios. Specializing in emergency and multiple specialty coding, I successfully cleaned up 150-day old accounts receivable, demonstrating my ability to tackle challenging obstacles and improve financial operations. Additionally, my involvement in Provider and Payor Enrollment & Credentialing has equipped me with the necessary tools to effectively manage appeals and revalidations. Driven by a passion for healthcare and a commitment to excellence, I strive to create a positive impact in every aspect of my work.
